Our First Impressions Team welcomes everyone who comes, just as they are, with a smile and friendly face. You will be the first person to interact with people who are new to CrossWay Church. It is an opportunity to love others the way that Jesus loves them.
Do you love children and love Jesus? KidVenture Ministry has an opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of children birth to 5th grade. Loving adults serve our children each week in the nursery, preschool classes, and KidZone. Our leaders are trained to welcome each child and help them connect to others in a fun and friendly environment. You will have an opportunity to share God’s Word, worship actively, and care unconditionally.
Our Worship Arts team leads a powerful and impactful time of worship for our congregation during weekend services. Members of the Worship Arts team are humble, servant-minded individuals and skilled musicians. Additionally, our tech team provides the optimal worship environment through sound, computer, lights, cameras, and stage operations.
We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. CrossWay has many tangible opportunities available to serve and love others in our surrounding communities. You can serve a meal, play a game, read a book, bake cookies, provide clothing, or give a ride. These are just a few of the many ways CrossWay volunteers are the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.
CrossWay continues to strengthen relationships with our ministry partners around the globe. Through deepening these relationships, CrossWay is advancing God’s Kingdom to the unreached and the underprivileged. Whether by faithfully giving, praying, or going on a CrossWay cross-cultural encounter, we are becoming an ever-expanding group of passionate, global Christ-followers.
CrossWay Church has occasional opportunities for volunteer roles that require long-term, consistent dedication (either for a big project or for an ongoing function). In administrative roles, the following skills are helpful: computer/data entry competence, problem-solving skills, strong organization, strong written communication, and experience in project management.
CrossWay Church is a building that equips its people to “go and make disciples”. The church facility is a building that needs to be maintained and taken care of so that we can connect, grow, and live as a healthy church. Additionally, our church buildings are used as a place to connect with the community when it is used to host area organizations and classes. Facility volunteers protect and maintain CrossWay Church.
As a church family, we are called to care for one another as Christ cares for us. Through the many challenges and changes of life, CrossWay cares for, encourages, resources, assists, and prays for one another. Care volunteers make a difference in the lives of one another. Some practical ways to care for others include being a part of the leadership team, meal ministry, helping hands, elder care, widow care, divorce care, grief care, funerals, baptisms, and mentoring.
Groups are the heart and soul of discipleship ministry. At CrossWay Church we disciple people through small group environments. Group leaders facilitate and lead others to become more mature followers of Christ.
Do you remember what it was like to be in middle school or high school? The teen years are an amazing opportunity for growth and development physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is crucial that teens have adults in their live that they can trust and depend on. As a Crossing leader, you have an opportunity to teach teens and speak truth into their lives. Leaders connect with students weekly at Crossing on Wednesday evenings, as well as on winter/summer retreats and local and global missions trips.
